What countries/regions to you send volunteers to? Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, Ecuador, Fiji, Ghana, India, Japan, Malawi, New Zealand, South Africa, Vietnam
How long are your international volunteer placements? 3 months to 11/12 months
What age do you have to be to volunteer? Between 17 and 25
Can you volunteer as a group? Yes, can offer same geographical location, though not always same placements for groups.
When do your volunteering projects take place? January, June, August, September (depending on project)
What kind of activities to volunteers undertake? Teacher, English Teacher, Teaching assistant, Healthcare Officer, Medical placements, Outdoor activities/education, Environmental placements
Do you provide training before/during the placement? Yes: pre departure briefing, in country orientation, teaching skills course (where necessary), language skills course (where necessary).
Is there an upfront cost to volunteering with you? 1,990 contribution fee plus flights, insurance. Fundraising is encouraged and supported.
What's it all about?

Lattitude Global Volunteering (formerly Gap Activity Projects) is an international youth development charity.  We give young people the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others through a range of distinctive, challenging, structured and supported international volunteering experiences in cultures and communities different from their own.

We have 40 years’ experience, and offer a wide range of placements types and locations – ranging from teaching in a Tibetan Monastery to acting as a camp counsellor in outdoor education centres in Canada.
