Skills required include knowledge of gymnastics, confidence within my coaching and communication skills. On top of that patience and organisational skills are very important.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering and what has been your highlight?
I enjoy seeing the children develop in the sport and I also enjoy building a rapport with them.
Why would you encourage others to become a Millennium Volunteer and what advice would you give them?
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and develop skills. I think its an excellent opportunity to get new skills also. My advice would be to take every opportunity that is given to you.
