Discuss Social Action!
Step Up to Serve have issued a call for information as they seek to find out how social action in practice impacts on their 6 quality principles. They would like to hear from NI organisations as they want to capture examples from right across the spectrum of age groups, nations, communities and contexts in which youth social action takes place.
The quality principles were created after consultation across the youth, voluntary, education, business and faith communities, creating agreement by all sectors on some key principles to underpin high quality youth social action.
Now we are working with Generation Change to help communicate what these principles look like in practice. We want to highlight throughout our November anniversary what it means for social action to be: embedded, challenging, socially impactful, progressive, youth-led and reflective by demonstrating examples of how projects or programmes do these things well.
In addition to this, we're not just looking for 1 response from each organisation, but for as many projects, programmes and examples as possible.
Individuals and groups can contribute examples by completing this simple form.
